I'm no expert on the scene in Japan, but hearing of that many places closing up en masse is simply terrifying. That's more arcades closing than there are viable arcades in the entire US. I really hope that when I finally make myself employable, get the money together and take my Japan vacation, HEY is still there and I can waste that money dying in jumbo-screen Darius 2 over and over again. What can I say? I'm a man with tiny, simple dreams.
